The Wilderness Resort is located in the village of Lac La Belle in the northern Keweenaw Peninsula. The resort offers three newly remodeled year round lodgings. . . a 2-bedroom cabin, a 2-unit motel, and a 2-unit duplex. Duplex Unit A ha s 2-bedrooms and Unit B has 1-bedroom. Unit A and B can be combined for larger groups.

The cabin and the duplex are newly furnished and offer queen-size beds with linens and towels furnished for our guests. All units have a complete kitchen with full size appliances and a living area with a sofa sleeper and satellite TV w ith dish network. The 2-unit Wilderness Motel is now open with two double beds in each guest room.

CABIN
The cabin has two bedrooms with a queen-size bed in each room. There is a queen sofa sleeper in the living room, Satellite TV with dish network, and a VCR.DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and the cooking and dining utensils you need. There is an enclosed outer porch so you can keep your skis, snowboards or mountain bikes inside.

RATES FOR THE TWO-BEDROOM CABIN

PEAK SEASON: June 1st to October 15th (Weekly rentals preferred) & December 1st to March 31st. (Winter-3-night minimum) $849 per week. $135 per night

OFF SEASON: April 1st to May 3st & October 16th to November 30thst $645 weekly. $100 per night.

Rates based on 4-person occupancy. Extra guest $10 per person per night. 6 Guests Maximum Children 17 and under stay with parent for no additional charge.

DUPLEX
UNIT A: The two-bedroom duplex has a queen bed in each bedroom and an easy lounger sofa sleeper in the living room. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination. There is a complete kitchen with just what you need for cooking and dining.
There is a flat screen satellite TV with dish network. The entrance to Unit A, the two bedroom lodging, is the door behind the garage.

RATES FOR UNIT A: TWO BEDROOMS
PEAK SEASON: June 1st to October 15th (Weekly rentals preferred) & December 1st to March 31st. (Winter-3-night minimum) $799 per week. $125 per night	OFF SEASON: April 1st to May 31st & October 16th to November 30th $595 weekly. $90 per night.

Rates based on 4-person occupancy. Extra guest $10 per person per night. 6 Guests Maximum Children 17 and under stay with parent for no additional charge.

UNIT B
One bedroom housekeeping duplex with a queen-size bed in the bedroom. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination with towels and bed linens furnished for our guests.  There is a deck off the entryway.

RATES FOR UNIT B: ONE BEDROOM

PEAK SEASON: June 1st to October 15th (Weekly rentals preferred) & December 1st to March 31st. (Winter-3-night minimum) $719 per week. $115 per night

OFF SEASON: April 1st to May 31st & October 16th to November 30th $525 weekly. $80 per night.

Rates based on 2-person occupancy. Extra guest $10 per person per night. 4 Guests Maximum Children 17 and under stay with parent for no additional charge.

UNIT A & B FOR a LARGER GROUP    
There is a door between Units A & B that will combine the two units.  This will give guests 3 bedrooms and 2 sofa sleepers  accommodating up to 10 people.

RATES FOR UNIT A and UNIT B COMBINED

PEAK SEASON: June 1st to October 15 (Weekly rentals preferred) & December 1 to March 31st. (Winter-3-night minimum) $1395 per week. $240 per night

OFF SEASON: April 1st to May 31st & October 16th to November 30th $980 weekly. $175 per night.

Rates based on 6-person occupancy. Extra guest $10 per person per night. 10 Guests Maximum Children 17 and under stay with parent for no additional charge.

MOTEL (Units C & D)
The Wilderndss Motel has two guest rooms with two double beds in each unit. Bathroom with a large seated shower, TV with dish network, small dorm style refrigerator, and a clock radio with an alarm.

RATES FOR MOTEL UNITS C & D

PEAK SEASON: June 1st to October 15th & December 1st to March 31st. (Winter-3-night minimum) $95 per night-$594 per week.

OFF SEASON: April 1st to May 3st & October 16th to November 30thst $70 per night - $437 weekly.

Rates based on 2-person occupancy. Extra guest $10 per person per night. 4 Guests Maximum Children 17 and under stay with parent for no additional charge. ATTENTION: NO COOKING PERMITTED IN THESE UNITS.

The Wilderness Resort is ideal for enjoying all the natural beauty of the Keweenaw Peninsula including lighthouses, waterfalls, wildflowers, birding, as well as wonderful outdoor recreation any time of the year.

Lake Lac La Belle offers great fishing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and water sports.  There is a store, gas, and boat rental a couple blocks away at the Lac La Belle Lodge. If you bring your own boat, the public access marina is only 1/2 block away. Hooked-Up Fishing Charters offers charter fishing and scenic cruises on Lake Superior.

Kayaks and mountain bikes can be rented at the Keweenaw Adventure Company in Copper Harbor, only 15 miles from the Wilderness Resort. ATVers will love the wooded area trails so bring your machine and ride the trails. D irect trail access from the resort door.

Visit the Eagle Harbor and the Copper Harbor Lighthouses that are open for tours; drive up to the top of Brockway Mountain where you can see all the way to Isle Royale on a clear day and possibly a freighter passing by; go hiking or mountain bik ing on the many interesting woodland trails; visit the several waterfalls; or enjoy the birds and wildlife that live here or just pass through.

The sandy Lake Superior Beach and nature preserve at Bete Grise is just a shore distance from the Wilderness Resort. Take a picnic lunch to enjoy on this wonderful beach and the beauty of Lake Superior.

Winter lovers will have fun cross-country skiing and downhill skiing at Mt. Bohemia only ½ mile from the resort. There is direst access to snowmobile trail #132 from the resort so pack up your gear and head north to the Wilderness Resor t in the Keweenaw Peninsula.
