There are ATV designated trails in Marinette County, Forest County, and Florence County. ATV campground at McClintock Park on Parkway Drive west of Amberg. Designated rails connect through both counties for miles of riding fun. Many of these trails are open year round, except for the month of April to prevent erosion of the trail base.

Keyes Lake Campground is located on Hwy 101, 3 ½ miles south of Florence, WI. 715-528-4907. The campground is bordering Keyes Peak Skil Hill & Lodge, which offers 18 holes of disc golf, a scenic overview of colors in the fall, besides a beautiful lodge for weddings!  We offer beautiful wooded sites with water & electric, rustic sites, seasonal sites, rustic cabins, and a dump station.  Stop into our Lodge Store for Scoop Ice Cream, all your grocery needs, and bait/tackle.  We offer site to trail, 1000+ miles of ATV/Snowmobile trails through 5 counties and the UP.  Keyes Lake offers a boat landing, fishing, swimming, watersport activities and picnic area.  Do you want to camp or stay in a cabin in the winter? High Falls Flowage on the Peshtigo River

10 miles northwest of Crivitz, WI. Enjoy boating, water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, swimming, or fishing for smallmouth bass, musky, pike, and a wide variety of fish. Several boat ramps on the flowage.

Hunting at McCaslin Mountain Campground, located on 300 acres bordering the Nicolet National Forest, an ideal location for wonderful outdoor recreation. There are 48 electric and water hook-ups and 80 rustic sites. Modern Shower House. Seasonal sites and yearly mobile home sites available. Rustic 2 bedroom log housekeeping cabin. Iron Mountain Iron Mine Tour and Rock Shop. Guided tour of the old Iron Mountain Iron Mine where iron ore was mined from 1870 until 1945. Ride the train 2600' through lighted ancient rock formations followed by a short walk to the large underground cavern created by years of mining.  Large Gift/ Rock Shop open daily.  Mining Museum. Museums

Amberg Museum & Historical Society, located in the old Amberg Town Hall built in 1894 and on the National Register of Historic Places.

Exhibits on granite quarring, logging, farming, and domestic life. Many photographs and documents. Open weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day from 10 am to 4 pm. Free admission . . . donations to our "Cookie Jar" are always welcome.

 

Crivitz Area Museum Complex, Located at the corner of South and Oak Streets, 1 block west of Highway US-41. Open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day, Wednesday through Saturday: 12 noon to 4 pm. Travel through eras gone by such as the old time schoolroom or the general store or browse old manuscripts and photographs. Admission is free, but donations appreciated. 715-854-7214

Nicolet National Forest: Hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, biking, cross-country skiing.

North Shore Campground is located on Lac Vieux Desert near the border between Land O’ Lakes, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The campground offers 42 sites with electric and water hook-ups in a wooded area by the lake. Sand bottomed beach with docks for your boat. Modern shower house. Wi-Fi. Laundromat. West Bass Lake County Park, County Road C, west of Aurora, WI. Boat ramp. Swimming, fishing, picnicking, hiking, and camping on West Bass Lake.
