Gray Wolf Lodge is located two miles east of Manistique
on US-2, just across from Lake Michigan.

Gray Wolf Lodge in Manistique, MI is just 88 miles west of the Bridge in the Upper Peninsula.

The Gray Wolf Lodge features 40 comfortable, tastefully decorated guest rooms, all with a lake view. Standard rooms feature 2 double beds or one queen-size bed. Balcony rooms on the second floor provide a larger room with two queen-size beds or one king-size bed and an even better view of Lake Michigan.

Family Rooms are the largest rooms with two queen-size beds and room for up to two rollaway beds. Each Family Room is equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and a larger two sink bathroom. Whirlpool Rooms offer a large whirlpool bathtub in the bedroom, a queen-size bed.

Our recreation center has a large indoor swimming pool, and spa for relaxing after a busy day.

The Three Seasons Restaurant is next door to the motel serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Gas and convenience store adjacent to the Gray Wolf Lodge.

The Gray Wolf Lodge is conveniently located so you are able to enjoy the many attractions the Manistique area has to offer. The Manistique Boardwalk is perfect for a morning or evening walk along the shores of Lake Michigan, and there is a picnic area by the beach where we often have bonfires by the lake. At the west end of the boardwalk, you will find a walkway out to the picturesque red Manistique Lighthouse, still lighting the way for ships traveling along the coast of Lake Michigan.

It is just a short drive to Kitch-iti-kipi, Michigan's largest Spring located in Palms Book State Park, or a visit to Seul Choix Lighthouse. Some say strange things happen at the Lighthouse and some think it might be haunted. The Gift Shop at Seul Choix has an excellent selection of Lighthouse gifts.

The Seney National Wildlife Refuge is nearby. You can hike on the many trails, stop at the Visitor Center, ride on the 7 mile Marshland Drive, or rent a bike or canoe in Germfask and explore the Refuge. The partially restored iron -smelting town of Fayette is nearby on the Garden Peninsula. Golf at Indian Lake or try your luck at the nearby Kewadin Casino

For outdoor lovers, the Hiawatha National Forest is right by Manistique and offers many fun opportunities in the natural beauty of the forest. Canoe the Manistique or Indian River, hike or bike the back roads and trails, or try your luck fishing in the many lakes and streams.

Gray Wolf Lodge is located directly across from Lake Michigan where you will find our private beach with access to the boardwalk along the lakeshore.

The Gray Wolf Lodge is centrally located for day trips to the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, a waterfall or fall color tour, or a visit to some of the many lighthouses of the Upper Peninsula.

The Gray Wolf Lodge has direct access to the snowmobile trails. Trails from Manistique are part of the extensive trail system that connects all over the Upper Peninsula and are well groomed for a good ride. Snowmobile Rentals are now available at the Lodge. Please call ahead for reservations and your sled will be ready when you arrive.

Cross country ski trails are nearby at the Seney Wildlife Refuge or in the Hiawatha National Forest.
