Spring - Summer - Autumn - Winter - A Four Season Recreation Area.
Mohawk Resort is located 4 miles east of Crivitz. Wisconsin, on the west end of beautiful Lake Noquebay. We have eight spacious 2 and 4 bedroom lake front cottages. Included in each cottage is a gas stove, refrigerator, small space heater, shower, dishes, silverware and pots and pans. You have to provide your own towels, bed linens and blankets, etc. There is 500 feet of beautiful beach with a sand bottom for your swimming and sunning enjoyment. We even have a boat landing for your use.
There's something for everybody to help make this your most memorable vacation. We have everything from swimming and sunbathing to a little friendly competition at the horseshoe pits or the volleyball net.
The Mohawk Supper Club offers excellent dining and there are golf courses, horseback riding and rafting in the area. The upper part of the Peshtigo River, known as Roaring Rapids, and the Menominee River are famous for white water rafting and kayaking. There are over 100 miles of canoe routes in our area, thousands of acres of land open to hikers, and the good roads and woods trails provide real scenic beauty for bikers.
For the angler, Lake Noquebay is one of the largest inland lakes in the state of Wisconsin. It offers over 2,400 acres with some of the best fishing available.
There is an abundance of large BluegilIs, Crappie, Perch, Walleye, Bass and Northern Pike. Within a short drive there are over 800 miles of trout streams with the finest Rainbow, Brook and Brown Trout fishing in the northeastern Wisconsin. During the past few years Musky of state record sizes have been caught at High Falls and Caldron Falls.
For those who like to hunt or just enjoy the woods, there are thousands of acres of public hunting grounds and wetlands available for your enjoyment. Marinette County has always had some of the best hunting in the entire state.
Winter sport enthusiasts will find enjoyment in the outstanding snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and ice fishing available in the area. There are hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails maintained by the River Road Riders, Iron Snowshoe and Nicolet Trail systems. Nicolet alone has 250 miles of trails. Cross-country skiers have several areas of trails for everyone from beginners to the most experienced.
After a full day of fun, why not continue the merriment and enjoy your favorite cocktail in our friendly tavern where you can meet old friends or make some new ones. We have both food and drink available.
