All units have air conditioning, a tub and shower combination, and Cable Color T.V. (54 Stations) with free H.B.O. and Cinemax.
The Park-a-Way and the Evening Star Motels have merged, enabling us to offer over 3 acres of parking, a total of 40 rooms, a new modern front lobby, and high speed wireless internet.
The Parkaway Motel has a center area shaded by big trees for barbecueing, relaxing and sitting around and talking. The Park-A-Way is owned and operated by friendly people who immediately make you feel at home.
The motel is in town, close to restaurants and grocery stores, with a gas station right across the street, and trail access at the back of the property so you can ride right from the door.
For snowmobilers, we recommend a trip to Tahquamenon Falls, second largest falls east of the Mississippi (Niagara is the first). See the incredible ice formations as you ride through the virgin timbers of Tahquamenon Falls State Forest. Snowmobile rental nearby. We are centrally located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, allowing you to ride miles and miles of trails to several towns, using the Park-A-Way as your home base.
Don't miss the beaches of Lake Superior and Lake Michigan, Tahquamenon Falls, the Shipwreck Museum and Whitefish Point Lighthouse, The Crisp Point Lighthouse tower, Seney Wildlife Refuge, Pictured Rocks, Whitefish Point Bird Observatory, fishing, biking, and canoeing the Two Hearted River made famous by Ernest Hemingway.
Enjoy some of these day trips to nearby attractions or just relax for the day, make the Park-A-Way Motel your home away from home.
