On Big Manistique Lake in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, just 65 miles west of the Mackinac Bridge. Open Year Round. Hunting Guide Service Available. Heated Ice Shanties for rent.
The house has 2 bedrooms, one has double sized bunk beds. There is a door in the dining room facing the lake which leads out to a private deck. The house also has a shower and television, sleeps up to 8. We furnish the cabins and house with everything except towels and washcloths. The decks all have picnic tables, small grills and chairs. Trails End Resort has campfire area for evening bonfires.
The Manistique Lakes area is great for swimming, waterskiing, tubing, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and relaxing. Bring your water toys and get ready to have some fun. Fish for Walleye, Pike, Perch and Smallmouth Bass. In winter months, heated ice fishing shanties are available to rent to the public. Enjoy a day of ice fishing on our "fish-full" lakes. Shanties are $25 per day or $100 per week. The shanties hold two adults or a family of 4. In the Fall, hunt for bear, deer, small game and waterfowl. A hunting guide service is available, and baited, heated deer blinds are also available for rent on our private 80 acres. The fall is also a great time for fishing and viewing the beautiful fall colors. The best time for color is from mid-september through the first weekend of October. In the winter, enjoy great ice fishing, cross country skiing and snowmobiling. Direct access to the snowmobile trails from your door. Trails connect throughout the Upper Peninsula.
