the Menominee River. Summer Fun at Wildman Whitewater Ranch Join us in the summer for Whitewater Rafting on the exciting Peshtigo or Menominee Rivers. The section of the Peshtigo River we use is the Roaring Rapids, the longest continuous stretch of rapids in the midwest. These are Class III rapids in the summer, but come for the spring snow run-off in April and May when they reach the level of Class IV rapids.
We have Lazy River Tubing for those who just want to take a gentle ride down the river. Take an exciting ride through the Northwoods on one of our ATV Trail Tours with our experienced guides. The Dun-Good Wilderness Trail is only three miles from Wildman Ranch and the we have direct access to the Iron Snowshoe Trail System for great riding. We offer half day and full day tours through the back country with stops for lunch. We have ATV Rentals and 2 person machines so the whole family can join the fun. Have fun with the Alpine Climbing Tower Ropes Course, head into the woods on the 2 miles of hiking trails, or go mountain biking in the nearby Nicolet Forest on their excellent trail system. Stay at our Silver Glade Chalet, Riverside Retreat, Ponderosa Guest House, Hideaway Retreat, the Peshtigo River Lodge, or our Pineview, Sunset, or Silver Cliff Cabin. Enjoy camping on the banks of the Peshtigo River. Our campground has a modern shower room and log camping cabins, bunkhouse style, that sleep up to 5. Campsites have fire pits and a picnic table.
Winter Fun at Wildman Whitewater Ranch In winter, Wildman Whitewater Ranch offers a Riverside Chalet and Cabin rentals so you can stay right by the snowmobile trails. From Crivitz: Route A to Route C west to second road on right past river, follow Allison Lane to Ranch. Located just south of Norway, MI in the central Upper Peninsula of 6 miles east of Niagara, Wisconsin, our Great Outdoors Aventures await you with whitewater rafting through Piers Gorge, Bombers 9 hole Golf Course, Horseback Riding, and Rock Climbing & Rapelling on a real rock cliff.. We also have 2 rental cabins on the shores of the Menominee River that sleep up to 6 guests.
