The Yule Log Resort sits on the beautiful shores of Lake Superior, just 4 miles west of Munising and 9 miles east of AuTrain. The resort offers a fine view of the Lake and Grand Island, with fine sandy beaches for swimming. We have a playground and picnic area waiting for you.

Cabins #1 and #2 are situated on the shoreline of Lake Superior.
Each cabin offers two bedrooms with double beds. A full size kitchen and living room with a gas fireplace.
There is a fire pit for your campfire under the stars.

Cabin #2

(Peak Summer Season July and Aug rent by the week only. Saturday to Saturday)
Cabins accommodate 6 people maximum. Rates: $95.00 per night plus tax.


Cabin #3
Has separate bedroom with a queen bed. Full kitchen and sitting area with a view of Lake Superior.
Maximum of 2 people permitted. Rate: $68.00 per night plus tax. This cabin is air conditioned.

Cabin #4

Cabin 4 (Newly Remodeled) has a separate bedroom with a double bed, a double bed in the sitting room.
Table with chairs in the kitchen area. Small refrigerator and microwave. View of Lake Superior.
Maximum 4 people permitted. Rate $66.00 per night plus tax

   


Cabin #5

Cabin #5 has one double bed and is newly remodeled.
There are two recliners in the sitting area.
Kitchenette area has a small sink, microwave, toaster,
small refrigerator, and a coffee maker.
Counter top with stools
Air conditioned.
The front porch has a view of the water.

Maximum 2 people permitted.
Rate $66.00 per night plus tax.

 


Cabin #6 & Cabin #7

Cabins #6 and #7 are similar.

Cabin #6 has separate bedroom with a double bed, sitting room with double bed. Kitchenette and table with chairs.

Cabin #7 has separate bedroom with double bed. Sitting room with a pull out love seat. Kitchenette with a microwave. Table and chairs.

 


Pets are generally welcome, but check with us when making your reservation.

The Christmas area is outstanding for Hunting, Fishing, Snowmobiling, Cross Country Skiing, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Nature Trails, Kayaking, Swimming, Scuba Diving, Chartered Fishing, Canoeing and Boating, just to name a few.

While you are here, enjoy some of these area attractions: Visit the beautiful Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, view sunken ships from Shipwreck Tours in a Glass Bottomed Boat, or go Scuba diving with a licensed charter captain in the Alger Underwater Preserve. Enjoy the several area lighthouses including the "End of the Road" lighthouse in Christmas, just a short distance from the cabins.

View the Pictured Rocks from the boat cruises of the Pictured Rocks and explore Grand Island Recreational Area on the hiking & biking trails or take the bus tour. Bikes can be rented at the ferry dock. The Kewadin Casino is located in Christmas just a short distance from the Yule Log Resort. The Seney National Wildlife Refuge is a few miles south and the Hiawatha National Forest offers outstanding recreational opportunities. Canoe and kayak rentals are available in AuTrain for paddling down the AuTrain River.

You can rent a Pontoon Boat or a kayak and tour the Munising Bay area and the Pictured Rocks, go charter fishing, and see some of the 15 waterfalls in the area.
