The Yule Log Resort has 6 cabins, 3 with kitchenettes. All cabins have air conditioning, linens, showers, cable TV, and the kitchenettes have dishes, pots, pans, toasters, and coffee pots. The Yule Log Resort sits on the beautiful shores of Lake Superior, just 3 miles west of Munising and 9 miles east of AuTrain. The resort offers a fine view of the Lake and Grand Island, with fine sandy beaches for swimming. We have a playground and picnic area waiting for you. Each cabin has two bedrooms with double beds, and newly renovated kitchens. The living room has a gas fireplace. These two cabins have new roofing and siding. There are fire pits for your campfire under the stars.

cabins 1 and 2 rent by the week.)
Cabin #4 & Cabin #6 Cabins #4 and #6 are similar. Maximum 4 people permitted. Rate $65.00 per night plus tax. Cabin #5 has one double bed and is newly
remodeled. Maximum 2 people permitted. The Christmas area is outstanding for Hunting, Fishing, Snowmobiling, Cross Country Skiing, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Nature Trails, Kayaking, Swimming, Scuba Diving, Chartered Fishing, Canoeing and Boating, just to name a few.
While you are here, enjoy some of these area attractions: Visit the beautiful Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, view sunken ships from Shipwreck Tours in a Glass Bottomed Boat, or go Scuba diving with a licensed charter captain in the Alger Underwater Preserve. Enjoy the several area lighthouses including the "End of the Road" lighthouse in Christmas, just a short distance from the cabins. View the Pictured Rocks from the boat cruises of the Pictured Rocks and explore Grand Island Recreational Area on the hiking & biking trails or take the bus tour. Bikes can be rented at the ferry dock. The Kewadin Casino is located in Christmas just a short distance from the Yule Log Resort. The Seney National Wildlife Refuge is a few miles south and the Hiawatha National Forest offers outstanding recreational opportunities. Canoe and kayak rentals are available in AuTrain for paddling down the AuTrain River. You can rent a Pontoon Boat or a kayak and tour the Munising Bay area and the Pictured Rocks, go charter fishing, and see some of the 15 waterfalls in the area.
