Bjorkman's Horse Outings
Saddle Horse Trail Rides, Horse-drawn Covered Wagon and Stagecoach Trips, and Winter Sleigh Rides in Northeastern Wisconsin. Bjorkman's Rocky Top Ranch is located near Niagara, WI and just a few miles south of Iron Mountain and Norway, MI in the south central Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
SADDLE HORSE TRAIL RIDES
Like to go horseback riding through the woods? Head out to Bjorkman's
Rocky Top Ranch for a great day. Call Dick or Angie to arrange a
guided trail ride for riders age six and older. Our saddle horses are
gentle enough for the whole family to enjoy. Haven't been on a horse
in a while? We give a short lesson before leaving so you will be
comfortable on your horse. All rides are led by an experienced rider
and are about one and a half hours long. If you have some members in
your group who don't want to ride on a horse or who are younger than
six, you can combine your outing with a stage coach or covered wagon
ride so everyone will have a great time. Cookouts can be arranged on
all our outings.
STAGECOACH TRIPS
Thrill the kids with a ride in our exact replica of the stagecoaches
that were used in the old west. Hop aboard our beautiful red coach
and we will head out on our stage line trails through the woods. Plan
on a stop to see the elk at a neighboring farm. A real treat for
young and old alike to get a view of these majestic animals. Our
stagecoach will accommodate 6 inside the coach and there is room for
another 6 up on the top.
COVERED WAGON TRIPS
Bring the whole family and maybe some friends and we will hitch up
the team to our covered wagon and have a wonderful ride through the
wooded countryside. Our covered wagons will hold up to 14 people and
are pulled by a team of Belgians or Percherons. Get set for a great
adventure on this three or four hour trip and enjoy the beauty and
clean air of the northwoods. Pack your picnic supplies or bring
something to cook over an open fire. We have a great spot by the
water for our cookouts. Shorter or longer outings can easily be
arranged.

We offer scenic trips of one hour, four hours, or extended trips of all day. We also offer overnight trips where you can camp out under the stars or trips of several days. Just let us know what you want. We also provide Cutter, Surrey or Buckboard rides.
SLEIGH RIDES
When the snow starts to fly, what could be more fun than a sleigh
ride through the woods with the sleigh bells jingling as the horses
trot through the countryside. Enjoy your ride along the snowy trails
and return to a bonfire for warming up. Have a tasty mug of hot
chocolate and cook some hot dogs, brats, or marshmallows over an open
fire to complete this exciting day. We have sleigh rides for a group,
family, or even a romantic cutter ride for two.
Bjorkman's Horse Outings are perfect for that special occasion. We do parties, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Reunions, Weddings, and Special Events. Give us a call and we will help plan a memorable day for your large or small group. Bring your own food or catering can be arranged.
